apoplectic apologetic

Ask me anything   "emotionally illiterate. severely inarticulate."

My new long-term foster pup is FINALLY out of the shelter and in her new home. I have set up a youcaring fundraiser for pledges towards her veterinary care. She is 10 years old, blind, suffering from years of neglect, has an upper respiratory infection, a yeast infection in her ears, and most importantly will need dental work done as soon as possible (see photo). Donations go through Sniffing Snouts Rescue, a 501c3, and all receipts and updates will be posted on her youcaring page: https://www.youcaring.com/medical-fundraiser/please-help-memphis-the-blind-senior-cocker-spaniel/145236

Her owner never came for her (probably a good thing judging by her condition), and even as a purebred cocker spaniel she had no interest at the shelter as a special needs senior. She was saved from euthanasia and now truly deserves for her golden years to be comfortable and well-cared-for!

My roommate left David Attenborough’s Africa on in the living room and when I sat down to eat it was playing the goddamned baby elephant scene.

Anonymous asked: you still have that boy?

Answer:

I’ve never had a boy. I’ve never given birth to a child of either sex, actually.

"Oscar Wilde said that if you know what you want to be, then you inevitably become it - that is your punishment, but if you never know, then you can be anything. There is a truth to that. We are not nouns, we are verbs. I am not a thing - an actor, a writer - I am a person who does things - I write, I act - and I never know what I am going to do next. I think you can be imprisoned if you think of yourself as a noun."

Good ‘ol Stephen putting a positive spin on what I perceive as one of my worst traits.
